Guru Dorje Drolo, which translates to Wild Wrathful Vajra, is one of the Eight Manifestations of Guru Rinpoche. Dorje Drolo is depicted riding a pregnant tigress, with a Dorje in his right hand and phurba in his left. Guru Rinpoche assumed this manifestation in Paro Taktsang in Bhutan in order to bring the local deities and guardians under his control. From A Great Treasure of
