6G ED VR AF-S DX Nikkor lens is a surprisingly compact zoom lens with a do-it-all 18-200mm zoom range that will take you from wide angle to a pretty respectable telephoto with a twist of the zoom ring

so non-camera things might actually be a better idea at this point
